Guest Post: a Dream Continued/A Promise Fulfilled

Every story, every dream has a spark. Grateful to the lovely Gilda Evans for allowing me to share the tale of mine.

"Writing is magic, as much the water of life as any other creative art. The water is free. So drink. Drink and be filled up."

Spirits at Madam Mumphery's - A Short Story

Spirits at Madam Mumphery's - A Short Story
Here's a piece of short fiction I had fun writing. I hope you enjoy it. For more free samples of my work please visit "My Writing" page.
"Vernacular?" Curly protests, in this scene from arguably the Stooges' most venerated episode, "That's a Derby!"

Of course vernacular is kind of what it's all about here, huh? Language. Writing. Literature. Saying your piece. But just as the judge exhorts poor Curly to say it plain, if you will, so too do I encourage all visitors here to do the same. Have your say. Consider mine, if you would. We won't be mean or vulgar here (not that I'm a big censorship guy), but we can be spirited, and I hope we will. I'm not here to just talk "at" you. Let's get a little literary community percolating here, shall we? THANK YOU for visiting; I hope you'll stay a while...
